Every DORIS NOIR garment begins with 260 GSM ring-spun cotton — chosen for its structure, hand-feel, and durability. The weight resists wear. The weave ages with grace.
Precision stitching. Hand-set rhinestones placed individually, never cast. A woven DR neck label and satin neck tape complete the interior — details that exist where they cannot be seen by others, only felt by the wearer.
Each garment passes through four considered stages. Each stage has a standard. No stage is skipped.
260 GSM ring-spun cotton, sourced for structure and hand-feel. Heavier than standard. Softer than expected. Selected by weight and tactility — not by price.
Drop-shoulder pattern, cut by hand for a precision silhouette. The proportions are deliberate — length, sleeve placement, body width — each number arrived at through iteration.
Double-needle construction throughout. Precision seaming at every stress point. Stitches per inch measured and maintained — the construction holds its shape because it was built to hold.
Woven DR neck label. Satin neck tape for comfort against skin. Hand-set crystal rhinestones, each placed individually. The garment is inspected flat, on-body, and under light before it leaves the studio.
